    Made by The Fibre Co only when the technology allowed them to produce a superwash Peruvian merino yarn without the standard chlorine treatment. It is blended with alpaca and a recycled nylon for strength. One skein is enough for a pair of socks, two for a wrap.

    Sock/fingering weight, each skein is 100g/325m.

    Machine washable at 30 degrees.

    Fernhill is a farm a few miles away from The Lace Knittery and it is a special place to visit. They farm holistically and organically and have transformed the soil on the farm. The sheep breeds have been selected as most suitable for the environment and they are breed for the quality of their fleece. It is a magical place.

    The yarn is spun into a two ply just over the border in Wales meaning total yarn mileage to The Lace Knittery is kept to a minimum.
    This yarn forms part of The Lace Knittery Natural Selection where we naturally dye in house. The dyes are either foraged locally (often from the garden or outside The Lace Knittery HQ) or ethically sourced. At the end of the dyeing process only clear water is left.

    Each skein is 100g/405m lace weight. It is soft to work with and easy to use.
