The newest addition the Marie Wallin books and again uses her British Breeds yarn. The colour palette is soft and there is a wide range of projects including colour work, Fair Isle, crochet, lace and surface design. A hit at The Lace Knittery HQ.
Knit Pro Zing range are my favourites at the moment and their crochet hooks appeal to me in the same way. Single ended in aluminium with each size a different colour. They have silver ends and tips making them smooth to use on any yarn and any colour easy to see. They have the added advantage as far as everyone at The Lace Knittery HQ is concerned…the bright colours make them easy to see when a hook has disappeared down the sofa cushion!
The Lace Knittery knitting and crochet patterns are designed in house here in Somerset. They are moments in time and are inspired by the myth, magic and beauty of these British Isles. Each printed paper pattern comes in a card folder which closes with a Velcro fastening. We design each pattern to be as useable as possible and each can be worked in a variety of yarns…have fun.
