This DK yarn from Fyberspates is something special. It is 100% superwash merino wool from Peru (no mulesing!) and is variegated. The dyeing process is twofold making each skein unique. If you want to use more than one in a project just alternate the skeins.
One skein will easily make a scarf and the feel and drape is superb. At The Lace Knittery we have used it in a variety of projects and the colour variations does not distract from any surface design.
At The Lace Knittery we are extremely proud to be stockist of John Arbon yarn and fibres. Devonia is their DK yarn, a mix of three sheep breeds and 100% Devon sourced. It is dyed and spun just over the county border from The Lace Knittery HQ. Yarn miles are a minimum!
A huge part of The Lace Knittery is our commitment to the environment. We stock traceable and ethical produced only and when dyeing our yarns all we leave is clear water. We were delighted to find Kremke Soul Wool from Germany. Karma Cotton is a DK weight yarn, it feels bouncy and very soft with a lovely range of colours but the best bit…it’s totally recycled. 70% is recycled cotton clothing and 30% is polyamide, recycled PET bottles…yay!
Here at The Lace Knittery we are in love with Lopi wool, it’s soooo squishy and bouncy when you knit it and knits up really fast…win! This yarn is a double knit from Iceland. This yarn is incredibly warm making it perfect for winter jumpers.
