    Shetland Heritage recreates the characteristic look of the handspun yarn seen in the collection of the Shetland museum. The small colour range is directly inspired by those found in garments from the 19th century.

    This worsted spun yarn has a wonderfully smooth texture, like knitting with butter. it is a lace weight yarn and can be used for either fair isle or lace knitting. It gives any project a traditional feel.

    This yarn is traditionally used for fair isle knitting as it is easy to weave in ends and block. It can also be used for other 4ply patterns. These cones are perfect for both weavers and machine knitters.
