  • Echoes of Heather and Stone by Stolen Stitches

We fell in love with this book at first sight at The Lace Knittery HQ. It is a book of eight varying patterns from beanies to sweaters using Stolen Stitches Nua Sport weight yarn. It is full of colour and cable design.

  • Inkling by Kate Davies

Another beautiful book from Kate Davies filled eleven designs (I have a couple on my knit list already), belts made on an inkle loom and the usual thought provoking essays and musings. A book that already has a place on my bookshelf.

  • Pom Pom Press Books

A range ( that will be growing) of publications from Pom Pom Press. Each one is a beautiful collection of knitting an sewing that is timeless. Each book comes with a redeemable Ravellry code to download the entire book, schematics and patterns. I have decided sleep is over rated and will be creating something from each book.

  • Rowan Carousel by Martin Storey

A classic book from Rowan and Martin Storey filled with beautiful designs for accessories and garments. I have already lost one at The Lace Knittery to a daughter…!

  • Shetland by Marie Wallin

I love the book. It has been a favourite at The Lace Knittery for a few years. The designs are timeless and there is something for everyone. The designs are knitted in Jamieson of Shetland Spindrift yarn (The Lace Knittery stocks the entire 220+ colours) but would also work in Marie’s own British Breeds.

  • The Lace Knittery Paper Patterns

The Lace Knittery knitting and crochet patterns are designed in house here in Somerset. They are moments in time and are inspired by the myth, magic and beauty of these British Isles. Each printed paper pattern comes in a card folder which closes with a Velcro fastening. We design each pattern to be as useable as possible and each can be worked in a variety of yarns…have fun.
