This is a variagated version of Rowan’s popular Felted tweed. It can be used on its own or mixed with felted tweed for a beautiful effect. It is a DK weight and works for most patterns. It is a joy to use and wear.
50% wool, 25% alpaca, 25% viscose

Suggested Needle Size : 3.75 – 4mm

Scheepjes Whirligig Yarn Cakes

A beautiful fade yarn from Scheepjes. It is double knit and fades through the colours as you knit. Each Cake is 450g and a whopping 1000m which means even though they are appear to be a considered purchase there is more than enough yarn to complete a whole garment. I managed to knit a large shawl, scarf and wristlets from a single cake. The yarn glides smoothly and is a pleasure to use.
Each is packed in it’s own cardboard box making them a great gift too!
20% alpaca 70% virgin wool.
3.5-4mm needle or hook size.
20 stitches to 26 rows on 3.5mm needles for a 10x10cm square.
