Blacker yarns take on the traditional Guernsey wools from arround the country used for making warm working wear for sea faring people. Made using a 5 ply construction the yarn is dense and when knitted it locks together to produce a wind proof garment. It is perfect for people who spend lots of time outdoors, and with great stitch definition it lends itself to textural knits or cabling.
