It comes in a stunning range of 80 colours.  Kidsilk haze has long been a favourite of lace knitters as it creates incredibly warm garments that appear to float on air. This yarn can also be paired with another to make it thicker while giving it a subtle halo.

Its gorgeously soft and fluffy feel is created by blowing alpaca fibres through a fine cotton mesh.  It can be knitted as a DK or works well with larger needles for lace patterns.

    Rowan Softyak DK

    A lovely DK yarn from Rowan. It is a chained construction and the yak fibre gives it a lustrous sheen. The high cotton content makes it the perfect transitional yarn, great for spring and autumn. The chain construction also makes it great for crochet as it does not split. We have used it at The Lace Knittery HQ for both garments and accessories and the drape is wonderful.

    76% Cotton, 15% Yak, 9% Nylon.
