£9.50A lovely DK yarn from Rowan. It is a chained construction and the yak fibre gives it a lustrous sheen. The high cotton content makes it the perfect transitional yarn, great for spring and autumn. The chain construction also makes it great for crochet as it does not split. We have used it at The Lace Knittery HQ for both garments and accessories and the drape is wonderful.

£69.00A beautiful fade yarn from Scheepjes. It is double knit and fades through the colours as you knit. Each Cake is 450g and a whopping 1000m which means even though they are appear to be a considered purchase there is more than enough yarn to complete a whole garment. I managed to knit a large shawl, scarf and wristlets from a single cake. The yarn glides smoothly and is a pleasure to use.
Each is packed in it’s own cardboard box making them a great gift too!

£9.00A lovely yarn from Carol Feller of Stolen Stitches and produced by Fyberspates. It is sport weight and is a mix of merino, yak and linen. The yak fibre gives it the fleck and it has a wonderful drape and feel.
Each skein is 60% merino, 20% yak, 20% linen. 50g/140m.

£9.00A gorgeous yarn from Carol Feller of Stolen Stitches and produced by Fyberspates. It is aran/worsted weight and is a blend of three different fibres, merino (from Peru and non mulesed), yak and linen. It is super soft with a wonderful drape. The yak fibre gives it a fleck.
Each skein is 50g/100m. 60% merino, 20% yak 20% linen.

£4.20The Lace Knittery is based in rural Somerset and it is cider country. We even toast the trees at wassail. The Lace Knittery Baby Apples Wrap was inspired by the apple orchards around the studio in spring. The wrap has an all over leaf pattern with a ruffled edge. This is optional. The colour of the yarn in the photo is hand painted by The Lace Knittery and is the colour of baby apples when they are first set on the trees.
It requires 800m of lace weight yarn. The yarn in the photo is hand painted kid mohair and silk and is available from The Lace Knittery.

£4.20We keep bees at The Lace Knittery and the inspiration for this beanie hat comes from the old fashioned skeps. It is knitted in the round and multi sized. It can be knitted in multiple weight yarns and requires around 100m.

£4.20This is the mobius version of The Lace Knittery Ebbtide Scarf. It was inspired by the shoreline and lochs of the west coast of Scotland. The central lace pattern echoes sand on an ebbing tide and is knitted straight. It is joined and the ruffle seaweed edging is picked up at the end. This allows you to leave it without or not.
It is knitted in lace weight yarn but the pattern is adaptable up to DK weight yarn. It takes 420m yarn and the yarn in the photo is a hand painted kid mohair and silk from The Lace Knittery.

£4.20This The Lace Knittery pattern was inspired by a trip to Argyl in the west of Scotland. I spent an enjoyable and vast number of hours just watching the tide and walking along the strand line of Loch Fyne and wandering around the wooded shores of Loch Awe.
The scarf has a main lace pattern and the ruffled edge is picked up at the end. This gives you the opportunity to add it or not. It is knitted in lace weight yarn but as always with The Lace Knittery patterns I like them to be adaptable so it can be knitted in up to DK weight yarns using the same needle size and instructions.
The yarn in the photo is kid mohair and silk and is hand painted by The Lace Knittery.
